Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who
(1) believes in God, and
(2) believes in the Last Day, and
(3) leads a righteous life,

Text, footnotes and subtitles were read straight through and checked against the source: 6,234 verses plus 112 unnumbered Basmalahs, 6,346 entries in all. Basmalahs are recorded as verse 0 of their chapter, except in Chapter 1 where the Basmalah is verse 1:1. Chapter 9 has 127 verses.
