قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءانًا عَجَبًا
" `It guides to righteousness, and we have believed in it; we will never set up any idols besides our Lord.

يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَءامَنَّا بِهِ وَلَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا

وَأَنَّهُ تَعَلَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا
" `It is the foolish among us who used to utter such nonsense about GOD.

وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا
" `We thought that neither the humans, nor the jinns, could possibly utter lies about GOD.

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَنْ لَنْ تَقُولَ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا
" `Human beings used to seek power through jinn beings, but they only afflicted them with a lot of adversity.

وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِنْ الْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِنْ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا
" `They thought, just like you thought, that GOD would not send another (messenger).

وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَنْ لَنْ يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا

وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا

وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَنْ يَسْتَمِعْ الْاءنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَصَدًا
" `We have no idea if something bad is intended for the inhabitants of Earth, or if their Lord wills to redeem them.

وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا
" `Some of us are righteous, and some are less than righteous; we follow various paths.

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا
" `We knew full well that we can never run away from GOD on Earth; we can never run away and escape.

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَنْ لَنْ نُعجِزَ اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَنْ نُعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا
" `When we heard the guidance, we believed therein. Anyone who believes in his Lord will never fear any injustice, nor any affliction.

وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَى ءامَنَّا بِهِ فَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا
" `Among us are the submitters, and among us are the compromisers.' " As for those who submitted, they are on the right path.

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا
As for the compromisers, they will be fuel for Gehenna.

وَأَمَّا الْقَسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا
If they remain on the right path, we will bless them with abundant water.

وَأَلَّوْ اسْتَقَمُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَهُمْ مَاءً غَدَقًا
We will surely test them all. As for him who disregards the message of his Lord, He will direct him to ever increasing retribution.

لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَنْ يُعْرِضْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا

وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا

قُلْ إِنِّي لَنْ يُجِيرَنِي مِنْ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا
"I deliver GOD's proclamations and messages." Those who disobey GOD and His messenger incur the fire of Hell, wherein they abide forever.

إِلَّا بَلَغًا مِنْ اللَّهِ وَرِسَلَتِهِ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا

حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا
Say, "I do not know if what is promised to you will happen soon, or if my Lord will delay it for awhile."

قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ مَا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّي أَمَدًا
He is the Knower of the future; He does not reveal the future to anyone.

عَلِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَى غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا
